I like this product, but then I found I was not able to print borderless prints. I tries & tried and found it was not an option for this particular series, which I really needed. Overall, it was easy to use, print quality was fine cause there was some light streaks within my prints. Speed was fine.

This printer warms up much faster and was just so very easy to set up. We do a lot of printing for our customers, including flyers, cards, envelopes. And the envelope feed is much faster and smoother than the older model we were using. I have been using the Xerox color cube printers for 10 years and would have nothing else

THE GOOD:
> Xerox quality. Always good.
> Xerox service. Always excellent
> Ink sticks replacement price cheaper than Xerox powder toner.
> Print quality sharp.
> Duplex (double-sided) printing works well (on the D/N model).
THE BAD:
> Ink sticks are waxy; if you print papers and then leave them in a warm environment (hot car) the ink may run or bleed through the paper, and multiple sheets of a printed document may stick together.
> Printer goes to sleep if not used often; in that case first page takes forever to print. Printer has to wake up and takes a looong time to heat up the ink sticks enough to melt them for the printing task to begin. Subsequent copies are reasonably fast though.

Solid Ink is an innovative, award-winning color printing technology available only from Xerox. It was invented in 1986 in the Tek Labs and first brought to market in 1991.
Xerox Solid Ink is easy to use and produces stunning color print quality. It also:- Generates up to 90% less printing waste than comparable color laser printers.

To really understand what makes Solid Ink technology extraordinary, you have to start with the ink itself.Solid Ink is formulated from a non-toxic, resin-based polymer, similar to a crayon. Solid Ink sticks are safe to handle and cannot spill, leak or smudge on your clothes.
Stringent manufacturing ensures colors are consistent from stick to stick and page to page. 100% of all ink is inspected.
The cyan, magenta, yellow and black Solid Ink sticks are clearly numbered and specially shaped so they drop into the correct slots for easy loading.
You can load multiple Solid Ink sticks for long, uninterrupted printing and "top off" the ink at any time.
Because of Solid Ink’s cartridge-free design, its packaging is small enough to easily fit in your desk drawer. And there is no cartridge to deplete or dispose of.
